About These Terms

By booking or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). “We/us/our” means Specialized Cleaning Solutions. “You/your” means the customer.

Services

• Hot water pressure cleaning of driveways, paths, and outdoor hard surfaces
• External wall cleaning with controlled pressure systems (~1,750 PSI)
• Dry steam cleaning for tiles, grout, upholstery, blinds, and hard floors (up to 175 °C)
• Mould removal and prevention treatments

Quotes & Pricing

• Quotes are based on information provided and/or site inspection.
• Additional charges may apply for unforeseen conditions (heavy staining, extra areas, access constraints).
• Unless stated otherwise, prices are inclusive of GST.

Guarantees

• Driveway cleaning includes a six-month mould-free guarantee. If mould returns within six months, we will retreat the affected area at no extra cost.
• All services are supplied in accordance with Australian Consumer Law guarantees.

Limitations

• We are not liable for pre-existing damage, fragile or deteriorated surfaces, or defects that limit achievable results.
• Results may vary with surface age/condition, contaminants, weather, and structural issues.
• Where chemicals are requested/required, we apply them responsibly; hot water/steam is preferred for eco outcomes.

Customer Responsibilities

• Provide clear access to water and power where required, and safe site access.
• Remove vehicles, furniture, and fragile items from work areas unless otherwise agreed.
• Inform us of known defects (loose grout, failing paint, damaged render, etc.).

Payment

• Payment is due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• We accept bank transfer, card, or cash. Late payment may incur fees.

Scheduling, Cancellations & Weather

• Rescheduling may be required for unsafe weather conditions.
• Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice may attract a call-out fee.

Liability & Insurance

We hold public liability insurance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the price of the service supplied.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Our Commitment

Six-Month Mould-Free Guarantee (Driveways)

• Driveway cleaning includes a six-month mould-free guarantee.
• If mould returns within six months, we will retreat the affected areas at no extra cost.
• Guarantee excludes new contamination from external sources (e.g., irrigation leaks, sewage events) and does not cover structural or drainage defects.

Other Services

Results may vary with surface age/condition and environmental factors. We follow best practice for every job and aim for the best result achievable for your surface.

Refunds

• Under the Australian Consumer Law, you’re entitled to a remedy if a major fault occurs.
• Otherwise, once services are completed as quoted, refunds are generally not provided.

If you have concerns, please contact us within 7 days of service so we can help promptly.
